The Massassi Night Beast

The ancient Massassit site on Yavin's fourth moon holds a number of huge temples whose originremain a mystery to this day. One of these temples was converted into a secret Rebel base, which wasevacuated after the Battle of Yavin.

The Massassi left a creature known as the Night Beast to protect their homeland against enemy takeover.During the time the ancient ruins housed the Rebel base, the Night Beast was awakened. A young Jedi named Luke Skywalker was able to lurethe beast into a supply ship and sent it off in the direction the Massassi people had taken when they departed.
